Lakeview third graders learn with a fun camping-themed twist

At Lakeview Elementary School, Mrs. Olson and Mrs. Riggio’s classroom is camping-themed to add to the joy of learning this school year.

In the classroom, one might find students flashlight reading with a smores snack, molding scenes and events as they practice their listening comprehension, team building exercises like building marshmallow bridges, multiplication index card towers, or working together to build cup towers, comprehension circles, reviewing skills with TIC-TAC-TOE, reinforcing skills through game playing, tasty lessons when learning writing skills, and creative brain breaks!
