Mrs. Gabriel’s 5th grade class at Van Buren Elementary School held their 9th annual Winter Bazaar. Students worked in project teams to plan, budget, resource materials, and create handmade gifts and treats to raise money for charity. They also promoted the event by making posters and presenting to each class. The students raised a total of $1,939 to be donated to the Make-a-Wish Foundation, the Susan B. Komen Foundation, and Team Seas. Way to go, Roadrunners!
