Students at Rio Vista Elementary School are participating in the fourth annual “Pennies For Patient” school-wide service campaign, in which students collect coins for a period of three weeks. Students were introduced to this project during a behavior management meeting in January. For the past three years, Rio Vista has raised over $17,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The school is proud of its students and parents for their continued support to help in the fight against blood cancer in children. The Rio Vista community is truly engaged in the spirit of giving.
