Parkview School’s math teacher, Beth Schroeder, has implemented a new math tutoring program. This is an opportunity for students in grades six through 12 to work together on math assignments with the help of a teacher. Each class begins with warm-up problems that are discussed together as a class. Afterward, students receive individualized instruction on their personal assignments for the remaining hour. Ms. Shroeder has also added a “test prep” hour prior to midterms, and plans to do the same before finals in the spring. Parkview’s tutoring sessions are offered Monday and Tuesday mornings from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
