The Healthy Smiles Outreach Program offers Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District students an educational and hands-on experience about the importance of keeping our teeth healthy! The classrooms learn about the importance of teeth, cavities, and the germs that cause them, followed by a screening from a registered dental hygienist. A care coordinator will then help link families to a dental home.
Healthy Smiles recently visited the district’s preschool programs at Linda Vista, Topaz, Ruby Drive, Melrose, and Rio Vista elementary schools.
