On Thursday, October 5, GlenKnoll Elementary held a luncheon to welcome the 19 new students beginning at or transferring into the school. The event was organized by Lisa Quinn, the school’s Registered Behavior Technician, with support from Principal Terry Mulcahy.
The first event of its kind was held last year, and Principal Mulcahy loved the idea so much that it became an annual tradition. All new students from 1st grade to 6th grade are invited to attend. It is a great opportunity for the students to introduce themselves to one another and share where they came from.
The event included cake and a raffle for spirit wear. It was a nice way to let these new students know that GlenKnoll is happy to have them.
