Congratulations to the Kraemer Middle School Cyber Patriot Teams. Kraemer qualified four teams for the semi-final competition, which was hosted on January 20 at Coastline College in Garden Grove.
This year, Kraemer’s teams are determined to improve on their 20th place finish last year in hopes to place in the top 12 and win an all-expenses paid trip to the nationals in Baltimore. This is an international cyber security competition that was started some 16 years ago and is put on by the Air Force Association.
All teams at Kraemer are advised by Kraemer Bridge Robotics teacher, Dwight Osborne, and Kraemer librarian, Jeanette Besheer. Mr. Osborne also advises successful Cyber Patriots teams at Valencia High School where he teaches IT Essentials, Networking Support and Administration, Digital Security, & Cyber Security.
“Kraemer staff and students are grateful for the extra investment of time and energy Mr. Osborne and Mrs. Besheer have made, providing our talented students this competition opportunity in computer science,” Principal Michael Young shared. “Please wish our Kraemer Kubs good luck as they pursue the Cyber Security Cyberpatriot final finale.”
