On Tuesday, March 12, Tuffree Middle School commemorated the 20th anniversary of its esteemed annual event, History Night. This event serves as a platform for the distinguished honors social studies students to present their yearlong research projects, emulating the format of a professional historical conference.
Under the theme “Turning Points in History,” students curated an array of exemplary exhibits, delivering insightful presentations to an audience comprising their school community, esteemed parents and families, and social studies educators from El Dorado High School.
The celebration also included a special recognition of Brendan Newberry, who while teaching at Tuffree pioneered History Night and the tradition has continued with great reverence ever since. Tuffree Middle School extends its heartfelt gratitude to its students, families, faculty, and the wider community for fostering such a commendable and enriching experience.
