Valencia High School Excels at California Future Business Leaders of America Conference

Valencia earns 2nd place at FBLA

Valencia High School celebrated another remarkable achievement at the recent Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference, showcasing the dedication and talent of its students. The Valencia FBLA chapter, comprised of 98 students, participated in an impressive array of 58 events, demonstrating their commitment to excellence and competitive spirit.

Of the 58 events entered, an outstanding 50 students from Valencia High School received awards across 34 categories, highlighting their exceptional abilities and preparation. Notably, 23 students secured automatic advancement to the prestigious FBLA National Leadership Conference in June, placing within the top four spots in 13 events.

This year marks a significant milestone for Valencia High School as the institution achieved its highest ranking ever at the State level, securing an impressive 5th place overall. This remarkable accomplishment underscores the dedication and hard work of both students and faculty alike.

In the Southern Section, Valencia High School clinched the 2nd position, with Oxford Academy securing the top spot. Notably, despite their Southern Section victory, Oxford Academy trailed behind Valencia at the State level, securing the 6th position.

The award ceremony was initiated in a memorable manner as Alisa Chang, a student from Valencia, delivered a stirring rendition of the National Anthem acapella, setting the tone for the evening’s festivities.

Additionally, Valencia High School expresses gratitude to all the teachers whose unwavering commitment and support have played a pivotal role in preparing students for these competitive events. Their dedication to excellence in teaching has helped shape the success of Valencia’s FBLA chapter, reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of achievement.
