El Dorado High School Varsity Cheer Team Secures Victory at Inaugural CIF State Cheer Championships

On February 1, 2025, the El Dorado High School Varsity Cheer Team achieved a historic milestone by securing first place in the Large Varsity Division at the inaugural CIF State Cheer Championships. This victory marks a significant accomplishment for the program, particularly following three consecutive years as runners-up in the CIF Southern Regional Championships from 2022 to 2024.

Competing against seven other teams, El Dorado demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and dedication, ultimately earning the championship title. The achievement reflects the team’s commitment to excellence and the culmination of years of rigorous training and collaboration. The success of the program has been significantly influenced by five senior athletes—Isabella Hansen, Lauren Sriruksa, Samantha Hoisington, Sienna Pieper, and Riah Tarka—each of whom has competed at the varsity level for four years. Their leadership and contributions have played a pivotal role in the program’s growth and competitive success.

The El Dorado High School Varsity Cheer Team takes great pride in representing their school at the highest level of competition, and this championship serves as a testament to their perseverance and dedication.
