Linda Vista Elementary Hosts Engaging STEAM Night to Inspire Student Learning

On Thursday, January 30, Linda Vista Elementary School hosted a STEAM Night, providing students with an engaging and interactive educational experience focused on science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. The event featured a variety of hands-on activities and experiments designed to foster curiosity and enhance learning in these subject areas.

Throughout the evening, students rotated between multiple stations, each offering a unique learning opportunity. With event passports in hand, participants engaged in mathematics games, explored robotics, designed and launched rockets, created magnetic slime, developed artistic projects, and engineered balloon hovercrafts. Additional activities included observing tornado simulations and engaging in other interactive experiments. A special highlight of the evening was an appearance by a representation of Leonardo da Vinci, adding a historical and artistic dimension to the event.

At each station, students received a souvenir to commemorate their learning experience while gaining new knowledge and skills. The event was highly successful, reinforcing enthusiasm for STEAM education among students, families, and staff. Linda Vista Elementary School’s commitment to hands-on, interdisciplinary learning was evident throughout the evening, as students actively engaged with concepts that will support their academic growth and inspire future exploration.
