El Camino Real High School students listened intently to the information presented in each section of the Museum of Tolerance. The Museum of Tolerance is a multimedia museum in Los Angeles designed to examine racism and prejudice around the world with a strong focus on the history of the Holocaust. The magnitude of this horrific tragedy was felt by many, especially when sitting in a replica of a gas chamber. This field trip was a culminating activity to follow up the reading of “Night” by Elie Wiesel.
