On Wednesday, December 11, El Camino Real High School hosted Career Day, emphasizing the district’s commitment to preparing all students for success in college and their chosen careers. The event featured three interactive sessions, where students explored professions of their interest through presentations by industry professionals.
A diverse group of 15 speakers shared their expertise, educational pathways, and career journeys. Among the presenters were a nurse, teacher, teacher’s aide, aspiring school psychologist, police officer, electrician, HVAC technician, mechanic, cosmetologist, Orange County District Attorney, wealth manager, and a non-profit executive.
Additionally, representatives from PYLUSD Human Resources highlighted district employment opportunities, while ROP advisors introduced students to Career Technical Education (CTE) courses. This collaborative effort provided students with valuable knowledge and inspiration for their future endeavors.
