Congratulations to Yorba Linda High School sophomore Emma Deane for being named the OC Varsity girls soccer “Athlete of the Week.” Emma stopped all 19 shots she faced through regulation and overtime, and added another save in penalty kicks, to help Yorba Linda win the CIF-SS Division 3 quarterfinals. Her 20 saves set a school record.
