Ruby Drive Elementary Partners with Fullerton Assistance League to Support Students in Need

Ruby Drive Elementary School recently expressed its gratitude to the Fullerton Assistance League, a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in the local community. Among the League’s most impactful initiatives is Operation School Bell, a program that provides new clothing and essential items to students in need.

This year, Ruby Drive Elementary partnered with the Assistance League through Operation School Bell to extend vital support to 76 students and their families. Through this collaboration, students were given the opportunity to shop for brand-new school clothing at Target, ensuring they felt confident, supported, and ready to learn.

In addition to Ruby Drive Elementary students, siblings attending other schools within the district were also included in this generous program. Funding was provided based on grade level, with elementary students receiving $100, middle school students receiving $120, and high school students receiving $140. This thoughtful approach allowed each child to select clothing that best suited their individual needs.

This initiative reflects the broader community’s dedication to fostering student success and wellbeing. By meeting the essential needs of students, the program not only supports academic achievement but also nurtures a sense of belonging and confidence. Ruby Drive Elementary emphasized that the partnership with the Fullerton Assistance League reinforces its ongoing commitment to creating an environment where all children are empowered to thrive both academically and personally.
