Valencia High School proudly recognizes seniors Irene Pan and Suren Sanjay for being named Coca-Cola Scholars Semifinalists. Out of more than 107,000 applicants nationwide, only 1,238 students achieved this distinction.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program, established in 1986 through a partnership between Coca-Cola bottlers and The Coca-Cola Company, is the nation’s largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship program. To date, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation has awarded more than $90 million in scholarships to over 7,200 students across the United States.
Semifinalists are currently completing the second phase of the selection process, which includes essays, transcripts, and recommendations. From this group, 250 students will advance as Regional Finalists, with 150 ultimately selected as Coca-Cola Scholars. These honorees will each receive a $20,000 college scholarship and attend the Coca-Cola Scholars Leadership Development Institute in Atlanta, Georgia, in April 2026.
Beyond financial support, the program fosters a lifelong network of alumni committed to leadership, collaboration, and positive change.
