PYLUSD Student Musicians Selected for CASMEC All-State Ensembles

From January 14–18, 2026, student musicians from the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) participated in the California All-State Music Education Conference (CASMEC), held in Sacramento. These students were selected to perform in the prestigious CASMEC All-State Ensembles, representing the district among the most accomplished young musicians in California.

Selection to a CASMEC All-State Ensemble is a highly distinguished achievement. Students earn this recognition through a rigorous, state-level audition process that evaluates advanced musical proficiency, technical skill, and artistic expression. Participants perform under the direction of nationally recognized conductors and collaborate with peers from across the state who exemplify excellence in music education.
