Students from the Orange County School of Computer Science (OCSCS), under the leadership of Mr. Juan Vargas and chaperones Sheree Johnson and Heather Marshall, participated in an educational travel experience to Washington, D.C., and New York City during Spring Break. These historically and culturally significant destinations provided students with opportunities to extend classroom learning through direct engagement with national landmarks, civic institutions, and urban environments.
Throughout the trip, students connected academic concepts to real-world contexts, deepening their understanding of history, government, and culture. The experience also fostered personal growth, independence, and collaborative learning. OCSCS students represented their school community with a high degree of responsibility, maturity, and professionalism, reflecting positively on the district.
