Students at Bernardo Yorba Middle School participated in the Richard Nixon Library’s 22nd annual geography test, and 55 students qualified for certificates of achievement. Seventh graders throughout the district were challenged to learn over 300 locations in the world, which included countries, bodies of water and other geographic features. Maps were provided by the Nixon Library earlier in the year, and students were tested in March. The test consisted of 35 questions; those who scored 30 or more correct were invited to an awards ceremony held in the East Room at the Nixon Library. There, they received their certificates.
