Brookhaven Elementary School’s second grade students hosted their grandparents for a special day in their honor. The children spent the last month interviewing their grandparents and researching their time period as part of the social studies unit on ancestors and the past. Each class performed a song and original readings, followed by classroom visitations where students shared the books they created about their grandparents.
