Glenview Elementary School scholars celebrated their success in showing PAWS-itive behavior by earning a VIP party pass for $50 Bulldog Bucks to a Board Game Party. PAWS stands for Practice safety, Act responsibly, Work together and Show respect. The Glenview PTA provided a popcorn snack, and parent volunteers taught children how to play checkers, dominoes and other classics, such as Trouble, Sorry, and Chutes and Ladders. Glenview’s next Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Principal Party will be held in December, with parent volunteers organizing a special Winter Wonderland theme. With the support of the PTA, Glenview scholars will have the opportunity to attend future parties throughout the school year, and vote on a final Mystery PBIS Party held in the spring.
