Valencia High School (VHS) recently hosted teachers and administrators from Esperanza High School (EHS) for an AVID Demonstration visit! They Aztecs were able to see excellent instructional strategies in multiple content area classes, as well as observe inquiry-based tutorials across multiple grade levels.
Esperanza was impressed by the incorporation of WICOR techniques across Valencia’s campus, and they were also inspired by the culture of opportunity and inclusiveness at Valencia. It was a great way to strengthen the partnerships of PYLUSD’s expanding AVID family.
