Thursday Night, May 31, El Dorado High School (EDHS) hosted their Senior Awards night. Notably, $63,250 in local scholarships and $5,476,860 in college scholarships were awarded to EDHS seniors this year!
The top award of the night went to Coleman Thompson — Hawk of the Year. In addition, seven Valedictorians were honored, each with all “A” grades on every report card. Two students were National Merit Commended students and five were National Merit award winners. Students were also recognized for their service to the community and the school as well as their academic excellence.
It was a great night to be a Golden Hawk. Congratulations to the EDHS Class of 2018!
