During the Thanksgiving break, PYLUSD staff members and students spent their time together in the desert near Ocotillo Wells as part of a professional learning community (PLC). They truly believe that those who work hard should play hard too.
The four comprehensive high schools were represented: Jeff Platt (Yorba Linda High School), Brady Bilhartz (Valencia High School), Donnie Bladow (El Dorado High School) and Kerri Walters (Esperanza High School), as well as two elementary schools: Tammie Platt (Bryant Ranch) and Suzie Bilhartz (Lakeview). Students from Glenknoll, Lakeview, Linda Vista, Travis Ranch and Yorba Linda High School also joined in on the fun.
