Valencia High School (VHS) cellist Michelle Jung has once again earned impressive accolades. Recently, she earned first place in the American String Teachers Association (ATSA) Preliminary Round and then also won first in the final round. With this, the VHS Tiger won a monetary prize of $400 and an extra $100 was also given for advancing to finals from the preliminary rounds.
Then, at the beginning of June, Michelle performed at Zipper Hall at the prestigious Colburn School of Music in Los Angeles. Way to go!
