On Saturday, September 7, Van Buren Elementary School’s PTA hosted their annual Welcome Back Pancake Breakfast.
“Thank you to PTA dad Greg Laporte and his dad crew for cooking and serving pancakes, sausage, coffee, juice and milk for our community,” shared Principal Connie Roe.
The school’s PTA provided 300 attendees with endless sausage, three large coffee totes, a gallon of half and half, ten gallons of orange juice, AND they made a second run to the store for more pancake mix! Nobody went hungry.
“What a wonderful way to bring the Van Buren family together once again to start another great year,” Roe ended.
