Glenknoll Elementary School students have their sights set on the future

Glenknoll.

On Friday, January 31, Glenknoll Elementary School students looked a little more grown up than usual. Students came dressed as they would for their future careers. There were police officers, doctors, Starbucks baristas, lawyers, construction workers, and athletes, to name a few. The teachers even got in the spirit spirit by dressing for their future… retirement! Teachers were outfitted as tourists on permanent vacation.

In addition to the fun dress up day, Glenknoll students raised money for the fire relief efforts in Australia. Students collected $1,316.26 for the Australian Red Cross and the WIRES (Australian Wildlife Rescue Organization) organization. Glenknoll Cougars not only want to be future ready, but want to help the world’s future, as well!
