Esperanza junior Trevor Franks-Nappi recently took 2nd place in his very first desert race in Barstow. The race car was prepared by the Esperanza Aztec Engineering and manufacturing students. Not only is it a challenge to finish the 200-mile race, but to win is outstanding! Great job, Aztec!
