The fourth annual Yorba Linda High School Olympics began last Friday, Jan. 15, with an opening ceremony rally. For the next six weeks, students and staff will come together to compete in spirited lunchtime challenges in the hopes of claiming school bragging rights. For the last three years, the seniors have won the title. Fueled by competitive spirit and pride in one’s class, participants come together and connect with other Mustangs, as well as their school. Approximately 500 Mustangs participated last year in at least one of the Olympic contests, which was organized by YLHS’ associated student body (ASB).
