International students from all four high schools visit local amusement park and learn about American culture

EDHS international students.

The international students from El Dorado High School visited Knott’s Berry Farm amusement park on Saturday, November 5.  In addition to El Dorado, the Italian exchange students from Esperanza, Valencia, and Yorba Linda attended, along with the German exchange students from Valencia. It was a big turn-out and the students thoroughly enjoyed their time together.

Besides having fun at the amusement park with all of the rides and attractions, these exchange students also learned more about American culture, specifically the “Old West” and mining towns. Dr. Gregory Beckmann, club advisor and teacher at El Dorado, shared that the students made memories that they will forever cherish.
