At the Tuesday, Sept. 15, Board of Education meeting, Emily Drinkwine was officially appointed as the next Student Board Representative for the first semester of the 2015-2016 school year.
Emily is a senior at Esperanza High School, where she serves on the associated student body (ASB) executive council as the Vice President of Activities. She is also currently enrolled in three AP classes: government, economics and statistics.
Her mother works in our district as a Special Education Aide at Golden Elementary School.
Next year Emily hopes to attend San Diego State University and major in psychology.
