Thirty-six El Dorado students attend Orange County Career Forum

El Dorado High School counselors Dana Armstrong and Laura Campuzano, along college and career technician Ashley Hamilton, were fortunate to take 36 El Dorado AVID and ED LAW Academy students to the 32nd annual Orange County Career Forum held at Orange Coast College. The Constitutional Rights Foundation and Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) sponsor this event so that students can hear from speakers from a wide variety of careers to gain insight into what educational pathway to take for college and career success. Speakers from careers requiring a range of post-secondary education were represented, including certificates, two-year, four-year and graduate school. The event kicked off with Olympic champion, network TV and radio sports broadcaster, author, and keynote speaker John Naber. It was a wonderful event for all students!
