Mandi Pettikas from Rose Drive Friends Church receives the “You Are The Advantage” award

On Tuesday, May 24, The Board of Education presented a “You Are The Advantage” award to Mandi Pettikas, Pastor of Equipping and First Impressions at Rose Drive Friends Church. Mandi coordinated the “Love Placentia” city-wide serve day event, which was held on Saturday, April 30. Thirteen school throughout Placentia were targeted by this group’s site beautification efforts.

Love Placentia is a partnership of 15+ local religious groups, city government, law enforcement, local businesses, service organizations, public and private education, and local residents. Their mission is to “demonstrate kindness, meet community needs and impact lives together.”
