On Wednesday, Dec. 7, Superintendent Dr. Greg Plutko, Deputy Superintendent Candy Plahy and special education representative LuAnn Craik made a surprise visit to Wagner Elementary School to honor teacher Joan Brewer on behalf of the California Retired Teachers Association (CalRTA). The grant Joan received will be used in her kindergarten classroom.
Additionally, Wagner teachers enjoyed a staff development opportunity, which focused on integrating language development during class lessons.
