On Tuesday, September 12, Kraemer Middle School’s “Where Everyone Belongs” (WEB) Program held a series of team building activities with 550 new 7th grade students.

To begin, 8th grade WEB mentors directed the new students through a name sharing exercise to break the ice. The students then participated in an exciting strategic game involving cookies, and finished with an opportunity to share about their time at Kraemer thus far.

The goal of the WEB program is to ease the transition from elementary school to middle school by ensuring 7th grade students feel connected on Kraemer’s campus. Under the direction of Kraemer teacher, Danielle Sabia, incoming 8th grade students participate in an extensive training over summer in order to serve as a WEB mentor.

Great job, Kraemer Cubs!
