Octoberfest recently took place in Mrs. Parmenter’s class at Rose Drive Elementary School. The festive and fun day featured five educational center rotations including:
- Dem Bones – Build a skeleton and learn the names of the bones
- STEM Challenge – Which group can build the highest Halloween candy tower?
- Candy Corn Addition Bingo
- Pumpkin Patch – Weigh and measure your pumpkin (height and circumference) and predict if it will float or sink in a tub of water
- Skeletoni Macaroni – Create a skeleton out of a variety of pastas
Juice and festive cookies were served to end the celebration. It was a fun time for all!
