Students and staff at George Key School gathered on Friday, November 17 to vie for the school’s championship belt in a tense game of pling pong. Students threw or bounced ping pong balls into color cups arranged in the middle of the table. The crowd broke out in cheers for each ball landed successfully in a cup. The objective was to land a ball in the opponent’s color cups, being careful not to land one in your own leading to elimination.
At the end of the tournament, Gordon’s Gladiators took the win and the belt. Koranda’s Krushers, the winners of the Connect Four tournament in October, handed over the belt with grace and congratulations. Stay tuned for the next George Key tournament.
