Mrs. Barry’s Lion Pride students at Lakeview Elementary School utilized the latest STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) techniques on Monday, Nov. 2.
Students took part in a half-day program of analyzing robotic traits, writing about their ideal robot and completing a number of programing levels with Lego Mindstorm.
This program has students building robots with Legos, and programing it to do various commands (move, detect light, stop in a specific line, make sound, etc.). It definitely fosters the love of STEM that the Lakeview Lions have!
