Third grade students at Ruby Drive Elementary School have been learning about the four major land regions in California. After gaining knowledge about each region, students had fun making a “Four Regions of California” map using kidney beans, peas, corn, and rice to represent each region.
At the end of the month, third graders will go on a field trip to the Environment Nature Center in Costa Mesa thanks to a generous grant received from Target. They Ruby Drive Cougars will learn about Native Americans that lived in Orange County’s region, the Coastal region.
