Valencia High School (VHS) coordinated an engaging week of Bullying Prevention activities March 26-30. Both the student and staff-led activities were focused on improving school safety and supporting students’ social and emotional health.
Here is a list of the week’s activities:
- Monday, March 26 – Humans of Valencia Lunch Rally
- Tuesday, March 27 – Bullying Video / Anti-Bullying Pledge signed by students in 2nd-period classes
- Wednesday, March 28 – Teen Anxiety and Depression Parent Workshop
- Thursday, March 29 – Anti-bullying Chalk Art Contest
- Friday, March 30 – Anti-bullying Tiger Tube episode and assembly
The school’s ASB also ran a corresponding Spirit Week with the following dress up days:
- Monday – Keep Your Head Up (Hat Day)
- Tuesday – Be a Hero, Save Lives by Being Kind (Superhero Day)
- Wednesday – Play as a Team (Athletic Jerseys Day)
- Thursday – Dress for Success, You Matter (College Day)
- Friday – VHS is Where You Belong (Blue and Gold Friday)
