On Thursday, March 29, Golden Elementary School’s PAL Mentors, with the help of advisors Angela DeGraw and Karen Hope, helped deliver a strong anti-bullying message during age appropriate assemblies for grades one through six. Each grade level was welcomed into the school’s MPR as the PAL Mentors cheered and clapped.
Students were then shown a video about bullying and members led a discussion after each assembly. Letters went home to parents about the Unity Project and encouraged them to have open conversations with their students.
Great job, Golden!
