Van Buren students interview grandparents for social students project

Van Buren Elementary School second graders had the opportunity to interview a grandparent as part of a Social Studies unit.  If students did not have a grandparent to interview, the school helped find one! Case in point, Gabriel, a student in Mrs. Pang’s class, interviewed her dad, Steve Taylor.  Gabriel found it particularly interesting that Steve was born in 1950 and that cars were around when Steve was young.
