Towards the end of the school year, Valencia High School (VHS) held various events, recognitions, and performances. Here’s a recap:
TAAL Dance Club – Performed Saturday night alongside Korean Dance Club. Guest dancers included Steve Picht (club advisor), Mark Stanley, Mindi Foote, Lauren Bartelli, and Michael Young.
House Awards – Danny and the HOUSE team organized a recognition/awards ceremony for students. Thanks to Mike Scheetz, Sam Kuchwara, and Geoff Rizzie for facilitating the program this entire year and presenting awards.
AVID Senior Awards – The AVID team including Liz Nasouf, Brandon Frank, Corinna Harnett, Gerardo Rodriguez, Chris Henry, Lauren Thayer, and Ruoc Le recognized seniors with their stolls and special awards by grade level.
Medtronic Visit – Ms. Crossno organized a visit by a local bio-medical technology company: Medtronic. A panel of interns/employees provided a presentation to students including a Q&A session.
CTE Medallions – Thanks to the efforts of all our pathway teachers whose students were recognized as CTE pathway completers on Friday with a medallion to wear at the graduation ceremony.
