Every year in the May, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) recognizes and celebrates the hard work of educators district-wide with Teacher Appreciation Week. Although this week is filled with extensive “thanks” to the District’s dedicated teachers, PYLUSD would like to take it one step further…
Beginning Thursday, November 1, and throughout the Thanksgiving holiday, PYLUSD will participate in a social media campaign titled “Thankful For PYL Teachers.” The District first began this campaign in 2017.
In order to showcase the outstanding individuals that so thoughtfully educate PYLUSD students, the District will share a picture of a different teacher each day accompanied by a quote explaining their “why” behind teaching.
Support the District in giving “thanks” to teachers by following PYLUSD on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (@pylusd), and retweeting/sharing the posts including the hashtag #ThankfulForPYLTeachers.
Here’s a look at our teachers featured so far.
