Valencia High School is thrilled to share that 50 of their 4-year college bound AVID seniors were invited to participate in College Signing Day at UCLA on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. The Tigers were joined by a crowd of 4,000 students to participate in this event with special guest, Michelle Obama, host, La La Anthony, and performances by Bebe Rexha and Pentatonix. Many other celebrities were also in attendance to support the hard working high schoolers on this exciting day.
“We’re proud of our AVID Tigers and grateful to the Orange County Department of Education and Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District for this once in a lifetime opportunity,” shared principal, Olivia Yaung.
