Rose Drive Elementary School’s fourth grade “Berkeley Group” has been working diligently to add the final touches to their Spanish mission assignments this week under the skillful guidance of teacher Mrs. Jenny Raya. The assignment called for collaborative group work using Google Classroom and Google Slides to research the 21 California Spanish missions. Each group was assigned four missions to research using the guidelines, websites and books provided in Google Classroom. Once finished, students were charged with the task of merging their four mission slides together with all the groups to create a vividly descriptive and eye-pleasing presentation of California’s missions. How very proud they were of their efforts and the final product — and understandably so!
