The City of Placentia hosted its 31st annual Veterans’ Day Observance ceremony on Monday, November 11 with help from a number of Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District programs and students.
Tuffree Middle School’s Vocal Ensemble, under the director of teacher Lindsay Parsons, provided the National Anthem and a performance of “Battle Hymn of the Republic” for the ceremony. Yorba Linda High School student Jered Baloloy played Taps.
In addition, Valencia High School student Brandon Kwon and El Dorado High School student Lia Mimum both served as speakers for the event.
