Valencia High School collected over 600 items during their annual Toy Drive this holiday season. With these toys, the school will have some of their very own students with families in need pick out and wrap gifts for their siblings. These students were able to spend time selecting individual toys that they knew their younger brothers and sisters would enjoy.
The school also delivered the toys to LOT318, a local non-profit dedicated to empowering at-risk youth within Valencia’s very own community. The kids were both surprised and excited when they saw all the toys Valencia had available for them.
Lastly, Valencia will also be delivering toys to H.I.S. House, a local homeless intervention shelter, to benefit their families.
“These toys really made a positive impact in our community!” Activities Coordinator, Lauren Stouffer shared. “Thank you to Valencia staff and our students for coming together to support these great causes and spread some cheer this holiday season.”
