Esperanza math students participate in an “escape room” to help master concepts

EHS math.

Algebra 1B students at Esperanza High School recently studied exponential functions through an “escape room.” In groups, the Aztecs worked through a series of puzzles and used math to figure them out. The computer let them know if they were correct and then they received the next puzzle. The students were excited when they successfully understood the algebra concept that allowed them to “escape!”
