On October 15, the Living Skills class at Valencia High School sold succulents at lunch to teach basic business skills and competition allowing students to learn through engagement. Students in Ms. Abo’s Living Skills class participated in this effort to raise money for their class and to help students to gain valuable life skills. The class was separated into two competing groups for a friendly competition with the winning team earning the most money. It was a great day for the “Aloe-lujah’s” and the “Green Thumbs,” as many students and faculty came out to support each team. What a great way to teach these important skills and bring the campus together!
